For a comparison point, the first track of the Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure appeared just after Christmas 2014, and the coaster was open by 21st March 2015. So it wouldn't be surprising if we only saw groundwork occurring during the open season this year, with the coaster track arriving on site at some point during the closed season.

I think for Octonauts, and I'd expect the same here, the staging site for the coaster was the staff car park located between the Security Lodge and the Main Entrance.

It is the foundation work that takes the time.

I am expecting a March opening usually Towers are good at opening rides in Marchh although some have been pushed back before.

I can’t think how they gonna tell the story of Bluey from a coaster as the episodes are less than 5 mins long

Then again the classic era of Thomas and friends did this with great success!
