Perhaps The Sun don’t want to be associated with such a tawdry brand as Alton Towers…
Oh the irony.
Even Towers hasn’t stooped so low the Murdochs won’t touch it

Had a really good day to finish off my 3 day visit. Finished the day with a Smiler single rider walk on only for winds to leave me stuck on the final break run for 10 minutes. Also noticed the D & G monorail bus replacement had somehow left the road and crashed itself into the verge and bushes on the main car park taking out a bin on the process…. Not sure how he had managed that but following the bus was about as mobile as the monorails are currently

This is why Monorail is needed its a heck of a lot safer than a bus

If there is one photograph that sums up this season so far, that's it.

It's got a wheel in the soft verge, easily drag it out. Not exactly a safety risk.

When we passed there was a crumpled bin a few meters in front of it and the whole bus was sitting with the tarmac firmly wedged against the underside of the chassis. My guess is someone’s pulled out in front and he’s swerved into that verge hitting the bin and whatever else was they as he came to a stop. There’s a high chance of some damage underneath it.
That said taking the busses out that way with cars etc all fighting to go out too isn’t the best route they could use.
