[2026] Monaco Themed Area (Silver Star Re-Theme)

Although it does look very nice and I do agree with the Croatia comments above. Apart from slapping a Monaco sign at the entrance I'm intrigued to how they're going to make it look like and know you're in Monaco.

I suppose they could turn the F1 curbs into a roulette wheel and make the building be themed to a casino.

Apart from that, what else is Monaco known for? Yachts and tax exiles?

This is ultimately a low-investment 'refresh' of an area of the park that regularly came in for criticism, in terms of Silver Star being a box with no theming either externally or internally.

It will clearly be an improvement to that.

Anybody expecting more than a fairly simple refresh and enhancement will be let down.

2026 is shaping up to be the quietest year for the park in a while but given recent developments such as Voltron, the huge 50th offering I think this is understandable.

The place to watch in 2026 is Silver Lake City.

It'll be nice to hopefully see the box room be used for something. Ideally I'd like to have seen them entirely reroute the queue and make the room less box but I doubt that'll happen.

From looking at the Monacco 'area' this weekend, it looks like the area behind the dome is going to be opened up permanently and the facades will be themed to Monacco. The area is already french themed but is only opened up when there is an event which will give the area a bit more space.

I’m guessing if they do open that space up, it would be to put something there (it’s no great use as just the bland paved area it is at present). It begs the question - what would that be?
