[202X] Project Horizon (SW9?): Planning Approved

I think Thorpe Park or Blackpool pleasure beach are more likely to get an RMC than towers. Thorpe has the large island behind swarm and Pleasure beach would be ideal for the new wild mouse model or single rail. Still think Horizon is an Intamin

Would LOVE to see a single rail at BPB but it’s unlikely.

Am i right in thinking that this RMC WIld Moose concept and the fire in the hole concept are two different ride concepts? Fire in the hole doesn’t like the Moose at all.

Yep completely different, the Wild Moose trains are all individual carriages, whilst Fire In The Hole ones are three rows per train.

Fire In The Hole is more a dark ride with coaster elements.

@Poisson I'll edit my post but I meant to add the scarefest before construction started.

For @Craig , I'm having real issues with my Samsung A14 on the forum.
Using their browser and it's posting before I've finished typing. Leaving huge gaps between text sometimes and won't let me quote. Any idea's?

Download and use Chrome?

A reminder to please keep speculation sensible in this topic. I know we don't know a lot about the ride yet, but we've removed a few posts as of late that have been crazy ideas that have zero possibility of happening. Thanks!

Things should start happening on site in the next 10 days or so (if they haven't already), if the projected construction time of 78 weeks is to coincide with the opening day of the 2025 season.

The trouble is, with the area being as out of the way as it is, I highly doubt anyone will be able to spot anything particularly of note for a while yet.

This will be a highly secretive project due to it's location and being inside a structure. YouTube Vloggers won't be getting much out of this one until near opening as it's well out of the way. I do wonder if ride parts will be located in the car park given that situated at the back of the park.

Shawn & Co won’t like this one. Towers can keep it totally under wraps. Even flying a plane (as happened with Smiler) or drone is useless if the ride can be constructed from within the building.

Whatever is going in it will start construction long before the building goes up. We know from the plans that building steel will only start arriving just shy of half way through the projected construction time of the project.

For Nemesis the car park is/was the perfect staging area for the ride pieces as it’s essentially right next door to where they need to be. For this though.. I assume they would use all the dead space where it’s actually going to be built and bring everything down from the gated access lane opposite the chained oak B and B? Can’t see any other way to do it efficiently
