Alton Towers NYE?
Done NYE a few times at the hotels over the years and it would be quite difficult to get everyone into a safe area at midnight to do fireworks given the layout of the hotels. It might have been possible in the past with the open field next to ATH but not anymore and getting everyone into the theme park at midnight would be a definite no.
I think people are quite happy without fireworks on NYE and prefer to stay in doors in their party frocks dancing the night away!

Fair enough, doubt they are charging £789 for their festive stays though...Even Butlin’s do fireworks on Christmas Eve and on New Year’s Eve but even they shown at 8.30pm.
