Anticipated Albums 2013

It's also up on itunes to stream for free, due to that leak I guess lol. Just finished listening to it, and I really don't know what to think. Couple of good tracks but a lot of the tracks are terrible IMO. It is beautifully produced though. Need a few more listens but I don't see it growing on me. :(

Yeah, new Daft Punk album is great. These are my top ten of the year so far:

1. Foxygen- We are the 21st Ambassadors for Peace and Magic
2. Atoms for Peace- Amok
3. Daft Punk- Random Access Memories
4. The Strokes- Comedown Machine
5. Unknown Mortal Orchestra- II
6. The Men- New Moon
7. Deerhunter- Monomania
8. Phoenix- Bankrupt!
9. My Bloody Valentine- MBV (bit of a let down to be honest)
10. Frightened Rabbit- Pedestrian Verse

Also, still to listen to are: Suede, Kurt Vile, Foals, the National, Youth Lagoon, Vampire Weekend and many more albums that haven't been released yet (new Sigur Ros, QotSA and Arcade Fire to give a few examples).

It's going to be an incredible year for music.

11. Carolus Rex (Swedish Version) by Sabaton
12. Spectrum of Eternity by Soilwork
13. Born Anew by Sylosis
14. True American Hate by Testament
15. Ashes by Threshold

Turning out to be a pretty good sampler so far :)

The new QotSA has leaked!

And it's absolutely amazing- perfectly mixes their old style songs with beautiful down-tempo songs (such as The Vampyre of Time and Memory and ...Like Clockwork), that I'd never thought they could do. And I never thought they would make a song better than No One Knows, but I think The Vampyre of Time and Memory and I Appear Missing are running it close now.

Also listened to the new Kurt Vile, Suede and Foals, and my new order goes like this:

1. Foxygen- We are the 21st Ambassadors for Peace and Magic
2. Queens of the Stone Age- ...Like Clockwork
3. Atoms for Peace- Amok
4. Daft Punk- Random Access Memories
5. Kurt Vile- Walkin on a Pretty Daze
6. The Strokes- Comedown Machine
7. Unknown Mortal Orchestra- II
8. Suede- Bloodports
9. The Men- New Moon
10. Foals- Holy Fire

So basically, listen to the new QotSA album ASAP.

Finally got to listen to Daggers by The Defiled. It has just gone straight to the top of my favourite albums of 2013.

The new nine inch nails album comes out September 3rd, I was a big fan of Ghosts as i'm a sucker for instrumental albums.

One of the singles of the new album; Come Back Haunted
