Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2023 Discussion
Wonder if it would be worth buying the track section then chopping it to bits and undercutting BPB on the smaller track pieces! That long track section says ‘open to offers’. I dread to think what they expect to get for them

PMBO, Grand National and Valhalla will all be closed at the start of the season, the latter will be closed until Summer.

The downside of opening until December I guess. Didn’t expect Valhalla reopening to be that late.
@shakey maybe they are taking the square wheels off Nash and putting round ones on

Well to be fair, it kind of makes sense for them to open Valhalla in the summer given how wet it is. Wouldn't have thought many people rode it in cold weather, unless of course they had no idea what they were in for. They've had a extra year to work on Valhalla and it's still opening that late suppose that's COVID for you. I thought it would open like easter time. Do we know then ENSO will open yet?

I thought Valhalla would open around that time too, guess it must be very extensive work they are doing to it, looking forward to seeing what improvements have been made.
ENSO is just a new car added to the train, I don't see why that couldn't open as soon as the park does. If it isn't open for White Knuckle Weekends you would assume it should be open when the main season starts.

Very extensive work or very extensive cost savings.

Yes, that too. Although presumably at least part of the reason for the overhaul was to make it less expensive to run.

With all those attractions closed and the price still sky high i would expect attendance to be tragically low in February.
Hard to see how they will be turning a profit.
3 major rides closed should justify a price drop, especially as these weekends were often half price in the past. Big One closure will bump up the Icon queue, North park will be really dead with no Nash or Valhalla, not to mention a certain piece of sacred ground which once held a classic ride (whoops, I just did)
