Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2025 Discussion

To relatively little fanfare, the park have announced 'Friday Night VIBES'
18+ only, 7:30pm to 10:30pm on Fridays in August. Free glass of prosecco, pop-up bars and 7 rides touted (PMBO, Icon, Nash, Dipper, Infusion, Rev, Avalanche). The promise of 'Ibiza-inspired VIBES'.

£32, obviously not included or discounted for passholders. Or £50 to include Saturday as well.

First thought I had, good to see they're trying something new. Unfortunately that is the end of the good IMO... £32 for 3 hours is pretty ambitious, surely you couldn't get through the 7 rides let alone enjoy anything else on offer. I do have a suspicion this could bring in the wrong sort of guests, being a Friday night in Blackpool, especially when its obviously got a boozy element, so I trust the security team will be rubbing their hands together.

Can't help but think running events into the evening would be a no-brainer during the illuminations, and probably a far 'safer' bet.

£32 for 3 hours? Mandy clearly doesn't like the idea so it's priced to fail.

Need to get one of those coasters that was ordered for a park that then never opened.

Six Flags have certainly benefited from that in recent years picking up a few collapsed projects.

They owned Infusion for a start. It was in a park they owned which they decided to close down.

It’s a far cry from relocating the likes of Megafobia. Although Speed would fit in well with the similarly punishingly brutal rides already there
I think it is more a case that they owned Infusion already, but they never actually paid for it.
European funding for tourism in the Merseyside area originally wasn't it?
Then, by fluke, they realised they could just squeeze it onto the flume site.
Would have been better left in Southport and just bodged the flume up again.

Speed being relocated to another park owned by the same company sounds familiar.

Does anyone know what happened to long boat to the right of both drops on Valhalla? It was there before the reimagining…It was one of my favourite pieces of theming on the ride. I know the mast was ripped toward the end. I’d love it if it was replaced. Did anyone ask this question on the vip tour?
Thanks

It was rotten I believe. Shame it wasn't replaced
