Slightly off topic, but has anyone been to Golf Fang in Liverpool recently? I was there yesterday and they seem to have got their hands on one of the old ticket booths which is pretty cool!
Seems to be this one if i'm correct.
Looks like Jim Roland for sure.

The Lancashire Telegraph getting the South Pier and Pleasure Beach mixed up.
I heard Salah was unhappy with the fact he’d have to purchase a wristband and couldn’t just have a walk around, so popped across the road.
*I did see a Blackpool vlogger show tv/film trucks by the pier, so guessing his was filming an advert on the pier, rather than taking a ride on the Mouse.

An update to the 2025 season has appeared from the park, ride closures throughout and more news on river caves soon..
I am quite surprised that so much is going to be SBNO this year

2025 Ride Lineup - Pleasure Beach Resort
2025 at Pleasure Beach Resort is an exciting year, but it’s also a transformation period for us. We announced last year that we are focused on our evolution. That means constantly moving forward, reviewing our offering, and re-investing – all while holding onto the things that make us special...

For the first time ever, why do I feel like this is heart felt from Pleasure Beach? It’s Asif they’ve been pulled into a board meeting hashed it all out and somehow found yet another new direction for the park WITH promised investment! An update to the 2025 season has appeared from the park, ride closures throughout and more news on river caves soon..

But will there be investment? Okay we've seen ice blast get done and I can assume river caves is probably also going to be sorted by that statement yet.... Skyforce is a bit of a surprise closure. The rest, meh.

So with every ride under and around Avalanche being closed, I think that pretty much confirms Avalanche's days are numbered. And that whole area will be used for the next big project. A Vekoma STC and Family Boomerang combo would be good for that area. Probably not likely though as too Similar to Infusion, unless that goes soon too.

“In a similar way, this year we’ve made the decision to close some of our smaller, less popular rides during the 2025 season: Eddie Stobart Convoy, Alpine Rallye, Thompson Carousel, Gallopers and Red Arrows Skyforce. The smaller rides were already being run on reduced opening times and our rider data showed that they have some of our lowest throughput, while Skyforce is 10 years old this year.”
Yes, many of those rides were shut a lot anyway so perhaps it makes little difference. They surely knew from the off that Skyforce would have poor throughput. What sort of reason is ‘being 10 years old this year’ to leave it SBNO though? The mind boggles. Is this them admitting that it was a flop?
“Lastly, we know lots of you have been asking questions about River Caves, and we can confirm that we’ll have an exciting announcement on our plans for this ride very soon.”
I’m a bit nervous about this. It’s a ride that holds so many memories for lots of us, I really hope it’s not going. I mean it’s not like they can do much in its place anyway, unless they re-theme it.
“We’ve seen lots of conversation online surrounding the new Vengeance Most Fowl film, and we love it as much as you do. Stay tuned!”
I’m excited about this. I love the film and would love to see some Norbots & related stuff in Thrill-O-Matic, or could this comment be linked to a potential new family coaster?
“We know this information sounds vague, and that’s because we have plans to formally announce our bigger pieces of news with a bang”
Well at least they’ve said something, however vague. Shame Nash won’t open just yet, but similar happened for Big Dipper’s centenary. Let’s hope they are taking the square wheels off and putting round ones on, or new trains. We can dream! So what do we think these big pieces of news might be?

I'm half thinking my prediction about the Wallace and Gromit family coaster could be coming true

Shame about Skyforce - I've always thought instead that they could demolish the Space Invader building, relocate it there and retheme it to the Ninja Turtles

So in summary: -
- they’re not going to bother opening the rides that were only open for a short time last year.
- Skyforce is a dud and they put it in the wrong place.
- Thrill-o-Matic is getting a new scene.
- River Caves is getting fixed.
- Grand National is having the same sort of downtime it usually has, but they’re admitting it this year.
- Something else might happen, at some point in the future. But it might not.

when I went (whilst it dosn't have great throughput) it always had a queue and I enjoyed it.
Which year did you have in mind?Do you think we’ll see the Nash open before the illuminations are switched on?
Considering they did a terrible AI announcement video for Launch Pad (seriously, it's awful) it wouldn't surprise me if they just typed 'Please write a news post for our theme park website announcing the closure of a large sum of rides, but please keep the tone hopeful and pretend that we have plans for better things coming up, to encourage people to actually visit this year' and ChatGPT has spat that out.For the first time ever, why do I feel like this is heart felt from Pleasure Beach?
