yeah, but it has come at the cost of a ride, and given the history of BPB this is probably a permanent changeIsn't good to have more undercover seating for when it rains better to have lunch undercover don't you think for whilst nothing is there
Like all the covered restaurants on park? You're not allowed to take your own food in and the only food stalls nearby are those ones near the old Cableway station.Isn't good to have more undercover seating for when it rains better to have lunch undercover don't you think for whilst nothing is there
Feels like a solution looking for a problem to me.

And the ones near the old cableway station are usually not open.
So that seating area is pretty pointless.

Oh dippy, you ruined it!
I was going to ask...how many mechanics does it take to push the National train through the winning post?
I though that the correct answer was thirteen...but according to the ugly ape back left, only three were actually pushing.
Really good fun to watch, we gave them a cheer when they accomplished the push back into the station, and they are hoping to reopen next friday...allegedly.
Lovely stroll round the Beach, few rides, beers, kebabs, stunning service in Crevettes, fine company and chat...but the screaming, snotty sad schoolkid packs are prowling.
This week will be bad enough, but the schools season starts proper next week.
edit...and dippy, you framed my garden "ning Post" perfectly in that photo!

In discussion with the (anonymous...don't you quote me on that clucking website) chief pusher, they all needed the exercise, him in particular.Just feels mean not giving them a winch
Reflections on yesterday.
The company, beer, (outside) kebabs, bar staff and general trip were great...usual eight out of ten for overall fun.
But it was a good job we weren't going for a ride count...
The only woodie open after four was the er...wasn't.
Operations on the only adult woodie open earlier were poor, one train, long chat by staff while we all waited, probably five minutes between dispatches.
Big One shut...then briefly open with a massive queue, then quickly shut again.
Couldn't face steeplechase with the state of our injuries.
Streak was swift enough...apart from the obnoxious brats.
Launch pad queue was beyond "can't be arsed" length...too cold and wet for Valhalla.
Only two bars open on the whole park as well.
With the amount of other stuff already closed, it is a good job we only pay a hundred quid for a season pass.
Highlight of the day though...push boys push...

But the entertainment is better. Time Machine blocked out and we watched from our stranded car as an op grabbed the end of the winch suspended under the lift and spider walked down the track to the stalled vehicle ahead of us. Harnesses are clearly for the weak.
