* Astro Swirl - Replaced by a room of junk
* Monorail - half still standing
* Noah's Ark - SBNO (possibly permanently)
* Haunted Swing - SBNO
* Trauma Towers - Replaced by astroturf
* Cableway - Replaced by bar at one end and toilets at the other
* Dodgems - SBNO
* Gallopers - Replaced by picnic tables for those picnics you can't bring into the park.
* Skyforce - SBNO

* Thompsons Carrousel - SBNO
* Alpine Ralley - SBNO
* Valhalla - SBNO half the time !!

I wish I could add......
* Amanda Thompson - Replaced by anybody that has even the faintest idea what they are doing !

You missed Speedboats (became nothing), original "Superbowl" dodgems (Fountains), Whip (Fountains), 1001 troubles, go karts(twice!), Tom Sawyer rafts and the two Big Wheels shakey, all in this old gits lifetime.

I love adding a few on!

Not forgetting mandy on the south park pony trail in the school holidays.

Edit...swinging gyms on the back of the overpass as well.

I suppose you could argue that tom sawyer rafts were replaced by a family coaster (eventually). And 1001 troubles did morph into impossible.

But yes , I will give you Whip, Superbowl, Big Wheels and Speedboat ride.

A tilt was proposed for Energylandia, however this deal never ended up going through but the same layout ended up getting purchased as a brand new model for Six Flags for their Mexico park, but the Tilt wasn’t built in Mexico because of planning issues around trees, and Cedar Point needed a quick investment after the disaster of TT2.

It’s a misconception that the Energylandia’s tilt is Siren’s Curse. Vekoma’s new-gen coasters are meant to be more affordable models compared to other manufacturers still.

Pleasure Beach need something marketable and that will sell itself, they’ve recognised the need for new investment and a big Vekoma would go a long way in complimenting Aviktus and Icon.

Tilt coasters are always going viral on social media! Imagine the tilt track looking out towards Blackpool Tower and the Irish Sea…

It's not a misconception.

It was Energylandia's, but they couldn't fully fund it.

Six Flags Mexico bought it, but couldn't get the correct permissions, so it was moved to Cedar Point.

What happened to the ‘new scenes’ in W&G? All I could spot was the gnome just before the were-rabbit which I think has been there for months, and isn’t a Norbot anyway.

Maybe something is there but still covered up?

Great to get back on Nash today. Ferocious as normal, but not too brutal on row 8. Couple behind me on back row said it was “Horrendous” and “The worst one”. Wimps. They were laughing all the way round though so can’t have hated it that much.

The new scenes are being built inhouse and being signed off by Aardman. I think I recall them saying that they can pretty much install the new scenes over 1 or 2 nights so unlikely to see anything just yet

There were two ground entrances, the one they use for the grotto at christmas...by the arena, and there is an entrance by the side of the Ghost train.
Entrance three (I kid you not) was up by the goldmine, there were shops and stalls where the exit shop is now, and a wooden staircase down to the magnificent Magnolia Cafe, where we waved to mum reading her Mills and Boon in the cafe, from the river caves and goldmine.
There were toilets in there as well.

Are any of the entrences still there locked? It must have been quite big if toilets too

Not actually running. They have speakers playing organ music quietly and it's visible again but no movement unfortunately
FFS! Knew it was too good to be true
Just tried it. It feels smoother than it was, but it's certainly not smooth, if that makes sense. It is running MUCH slower than usual, it's barely getting back
Also, last week's smoothness on Grand National was short lived. Now it's properly ran in again, it's as rough as usual
