Use the remaining Wild Mouse trains and put them on Grand National. Problem solved.
Would probably be a lot more comfortable in a mouse with seat belt than in those trains with the awful lap barsUse the remaining Wild Mouse trains and put them on Grand National. Problem solved.
I agree regarding the prices, it's too much considering the park aren't offering anything more this year than last (Icon in, Mouse out). The same number of rides and service is average at best, so why such huge price rises?Been at pleasure beach for last few days and one thing I have noticed
They have definitely changed the pricing structure, probably one of the hardest parks to get discount for over the last few years, offering 2 4 1 tickets, 25% off on the door to group tickets, high price per ride to male wristbands look great value, 15/18 quid for parking for example
They want average spend up, and get pennies out of every guest they can, whilst i support this in principle to add new rides and refurb the park, if platinum passes go up too much, if they are pricing it as a luxury product to me then they need to be offering a luxury product and service overall... icon can’t be the only polished premium part of the area,
Let’s be honest it’s the same park just with Icon added and whilst it is a first class ride if they are pricing with Merlin style Icon style investments need to happen over a 4/5 year cycle. ( I’m not saying Merlin are perfect but there passes Work out at like £60 per park and recent investments seem to say they are moving to themed experiences which I support)

This is true, but (IMO) if they put the charges up too much they run the risk of alienating their audience.£16.5 million to recoup

Most developed parks put their prices up a few percent each year - irrespective of new rides. For example, Alton Towers has gone up about £3 on 2017.
Have Blackpool put their prices up by more than would reasonably be expected this season?
Yeah, it went from £32.50 to £39 on the gate, parking has gone from £10 peak, £5-7 off peak to £18 flat rate and there are suggestions that season passes may be heavily increased on last year's renewal price. Most developed parks put their prices up a few percent each year - irrespective of new rides. Again, they know what they are doing...
There isn't anything to agree or disagree on, it's factual info - last year BPB had 10 coasters, this year they have 10 coasters. Opinions about which was better is a different thing altogether. And one in one out on coasters...come on...99% of their customers won't agree with you.
