Ian is bang on the money here. PB have a high security presence both at the gate and on the park itself, thats no different now to how it was during the days of free entry. I do also find people grossly exadurate the 'problems' the park had in the 80's-90's, sure there was the odd punch up, nothing that would spoil your day, and lets be honist, there is still the odd punch up, just like anywhere else that attracts such numbers, which is why most major parks have some form of security.
I do here what your saying Rollercoasters4life, but I find that BPB are doing themselves more harm than good with the current system. Lets just say that BPB's busiest day ever in the parks 117 year history was in 1997, co-insidence it may be that it wasn't beaten in 1998-1999, but since 2000 when wristbands came in, its been lightyears away from being beaten, I'm talking big bucks here, over half a million in an illumination Sat, and there's how many of them a year, 8-9?
