Blackpool Pleasure Beach: General Discussion
No staff...just me... on national hourly average rate. That's ironic, don't you pay your own staff just the minimum wage?

So the Wild Mouse car Libby auction has ended and it didn't meet the reserve. I know it was for charity, but that's a bit cheeky if they put a reserve of around 5K on it. I guess they will just offer it to the highest bidder anyway, unless they've decided not to sell it.

I’d pay more if it included bloody parking!

I live 2 hours away the free parking is always gone when we arrive. Don’t really want to set off at 7 with a 4 year old.
It’s quite astonishing how little the season pass includes actually

I often do the park in the mid afternoon, and I have never, ever failed to find free parking more than half a mile from the park entrances.I live 2 hours away the free parking is always gone when we arrive. Don’t really want to set off at 7 with a 4 year old.

You are obviously looking in the wrong places Poopoohead.

Can someone remind me what food outlets the season pass includes / excludes please.
Edit: Sorry just realised its on the website
10% OFF Meal Deals (Show your Platinum Pass to redeem) On Park Catering Units – Exc. Burger King, Madam Crevettes, Oyster Bar, Arena, Costa, Krispy Kreme, Champagne Lounge and Fish & Chips.
Why then do I always forget this when I eat at Gourmet Burger?

I must have been getting confused sorry, I swear I remember you saying you only paid your staff minimum wage and they were happy with it during a discussion about Merlin, apologies.
No sweat Ian.
Think that might have been Rick...
I did consider taking an apprentice on through the local agricultural college, they got in touch with me via a good customer... but good grief, the amount of paperwork involved with taking on your first employee.
Happy part time one man band, try to hit a twenty hour week, skive off to the coasters when it rains.
Which, living in Lancashire...is most of the time!

Ooh! Excitement! I wonder what it could be for?
Some people have apparently said that they've heard about a potential Intamin Sky Jump coming to BPB; I personally think that this would be a brilliant choice, as Falcon's Fury is amazing, in my opinion! I also think a Funtime Star Flyer could be a good choice for BPB, too; they seem to have been received quite well by those who have ridden them, and I can imagine that one overlooking the Pleasure Beach as well as the surrounding area of Blackpool and the sea would be quite the thrill!

I suppose! Maybe a shorter version, like the Zamperla model at Flamingo Land?I would highly doubt a Funtime Starflyer due to the high winds in Blackpool.

Why would they though? They already have the classic Flying Machines.I suppose! Maybe a shorter version, like the Zamperla model at Flamingo Land?
An Intamin Sky Jump would be out of this world though.

I suppose they do, but I personally reckon a tower swing ride would feel a little more exposed than the Flying Machines, if you get what I mean. Why would they though? They already have the classic Flying Machines.

Yeah, I get what you mean. As @MakoMania said though, the regular high winds would be an issue.I suppose they do, but I personally reckon a tower swing ride would feel a little more exposed than the Flying Machines, if you get what I mean.
