Random question does anyone know who voiced Zappomatic in the 5th Dimension, he had a Geordie accent in the 1987 version but more a Southern accent in the 1988 ver and I'm curious to know who voiced them.

Looking at the design of it, it has to be theming right?
Although if so I fear there will be a lot of disappointed kids who will see it and want a go.

It looks like a real slide on the concept art.
I think its just a photo spot.
Queue would be absurd if it was real, ignoring the angle of death.

In all seriousness I'm pretty certain it's a just a theming piece, as @AT86 says.
The shallow section is too high to put kids down. Plus think of the logistics.
There would be a queue so parents would need to go up with kids. Kid goes down, parent almost certainly can't. Parent needs to sprint down the stairs to avoid child escaping. This happens at least once a minute all day, guaranteed it goes wrong multiple times a week.

I did say to my son though I wonder how long until it’s closed as all the slides at LEGOLAND and Chessington seem to spend a lot of time closed off! I didn’t think when I said it that it would actually never open!!
