Coaster Studios is a channel that has been around for quite a long time run by enthusiast Taylor Bybee! I thought I'd post this thread for two reasons. Starting off on a good note, he's recently announced that Coaster Studios has partnered with Rocky Mountain Construction to do a documentary with them, if you want to know more than read his twitter account.
On a negative note though, over the last couple of days allegations have been made against one of Taylor's friends who starred on Coaster Studios which is unfortunate but we won't mention his name like we do with the TPW allegations I'm sure @Craig will agree. This is quite sad as it's another example of people neglecting their opportunities and sadly Taylor has announced that the person involved will no longer feature on Coaster Studios.
    What are your opinions?!

I haven't seen Taylor's initial post about it but he has since apologized because apparently he didn't realise the reality of the situation and acted out of distress. Hopefully it won't be blown too much out of the water because his channel is fantastic and I have been a fan for a while.

I just read the apology that was posted on his twitter yesterday. Let’s be honest, that sort of apology is the apology that should have been made when it was kicking off here at the end of June.

Yh because all Tpw did was delete the tweets and posts or just ignore them! I think Taylor's handled it a bit better because he's actually said his friend won't feature making the decision much quicker!

Matt you need to remove it as it contains the name of the accused. Same rules as with the TPWW thread.

No worries, didn't want you getting in to trouble. People can search online if they want to read it. :)

It's fine i made the same mistake on the TPW thread but @skyscraper is right! Just to anyone who posts on hear No Mentioning the Names of the Accused! Now that it's in bold people shouldn't miss it! On the positive note i'm actually really excited for the RMC documentary!

Why am I'm not surprised that the cancel brigade haven't got out their pitch forks and torches to voiced their opinions on this one?

Here is is and I've blocked out the names even though it won't take a genius to work out who posted it

No apology will ever make hitting upon any under age person acceptable. I believe that Coaster Studios is based across the pond and the laws and legal system out there may vary from ours. The age of consent out there is 18 as oppose to here in the UK which is 16 (unless you are in a job where you hold a position of trust i.e. school teacher, then it goes up to 18)

You mustn't forget that with TPWW, there were police involvement from the outset which means that the legal process was in progress, they would have seek legal advice and acted upon it. They are not under any obligation to do any more than that to which could jeopardise any legal process whether it is potential justice for the victims or a claim against the allegations for deformation of character.

I know why they were treading carefully over here potentially, I'm a third year law student and have done the law of defamation in first year. I just don't know if I believe legal advice was actually sought in the case over here, I really don't. Anyway, it was good to see an actual good statement put out by CS here. Like you've said, no apology can make up for it, but it seemed a much, much, much more respectful response.

Coaster Studios have released this video about sexual misconduct and has started a social media and merchandise campaign called G-force with profits going to a sexual abuse charity. The video they made made me cry not just because of how beautiful it is but because it really should not have been necessary. Coaster Studios have my respect.

This video was very well addressed and they've handled this way better than TPW have if I'm honest!

TPWW have a bigger fanbase and are more wisely known, so it would be a bit harder from them.

It was dealt with poorly no matter how you look at it, deleting peoples tweets and blocking people didn't look good, no matter what opinion a person has on them it wasn't acceptable.

Personally I think that TPWW did the right thing, it was a police matter and considering the seriousness of the allegations, they reported it to the police as it was a police matter as oppose to washing dirty laundry in public.

In which case you should know better that the parties involved shouldn't be discussing legal matters over social media

I think the bottom line is, it won't matter what TPWW would have done, on this forum they can't do right for doing wrong.

Let's not forget that one of the allege perpetrators was an employee at Alton Towers Resort, as far as I'm aware, he was a supervisor in his department (The police has investigated the allegations and taken no further action - case closed). I've yet to see Alton Tower Resort or Merlin putting out a statement regarding the allegations against their employee or members of the themepark community demanding that they do so.

Nice to see the TPWW character assassination and lynching has moved to a different topic.

But the thing is TPWW do know that it's happening but from the way they're vlogging, you wouldn't believe it! I'm so glad to see G-Force being set up and it's definitely a step in the right direction. It's gonna be hard for Taylor to not vlog with one of his best mates anymore but when he's got others to help him, i'm sure he'll be fine!
