Is there any sign of 'The Wave' actually testing yet? They could really do with it opening at Easter and I would have thought they would have had it testing by now, I would be worried how this would Impact attendance as people will hold off especially as the new coaster will be May at the earliest

Yeah i was hoping to visit in Easter but i'm not going unless both coasters are running which seems very unlikely now. Would rather they have everything finished in terms of theming rather than rush them open though and fair play if they're prioritising that over cashing in on a public holiday.
Do have a sliver of hope in that Legoland's new rollercoaster is opening on the 29th and they only started testing last week.

Staff have informed me if it has no problems the wave should be open on the 29th or 30th March.
Stormforce 10 is currently been all repainted in the queue lines and around the front of the ride area while it’s having a computer system upgrade so it will hopefully have less downtime and can run more boats. They hope it will open mid to end of April.
The new coaster is still on to open at the end of May ready for the start of the school trips.

End of May, still looks like a lot of work to do, especially if that’s a show building for the second launch.

Not sure about the red and yellow colour scheme. Looks a bit weird. I know nothing about this re-theme though.
Lifeguard uniform is traditionally red and yellow so as this is a lifeguard tower I assume thats why they picked those colours.

The ride was originally launched in association with the RNLI. The idea was to emulate the excitement and the drama of an RNLI lifeboat rescue.Oh, that explains the choice then. Still not a fan though, to be honest![]()
The ride was sponsored by JET for a while, which had the tower painted as yellow at the top, and blue for the bottom half. I don't know exactly when it switched to yellow and red (when the JET sponsorship ran out).

Ahh I see, fair. Thought you were talking about The Wave's new entrance structure. The photos are of Stormforce 10, with its yellow and red tower.

But upon reflection @BarryZola was responding to The Wave before the photos of Stormforce 10 were posted. I was riffing on @jon81uk's reply about lifeguards, so assumed that both were talking about Stormforce 10; with the photos being before Jon's reply, but after Barry's reply. Lesson learned: read the whole thread, not the latest post.Ahh I see, fair.

I love the theme of the western area and they done an excellent job on the former 50s theme building and the video they released on Wednesday was ok but yesterdays was laughable when you compare the teaser videos they did for Adventure Cove and the Vikings. Like unless you are on a theme park...

Every visit the park has had another up date like they could have just done the Western street but there’s so much going on across the park.
The haunting new entrance

It’s kept the Halloween story line but think it needs some TLC as the building in a bad state and many things didn’t work.
The theatre itself looks an excellent re theme from the outside, queue line, pre show and where u collect your 3D glasses but the main building is empty except for a couple of Props. Love the new movie choice.

The street

Where the area entrance sign will go

The former toy shop

They currently still working on the sweet shop.
Even Fun foods is been worked on

Even the Flying Dutchman building is currently been worked on

The lockers have returned

They also currently painting the Bounty operators building. Think it’s gonna be a busy 6 days for the park to get most of the work done for the start of the season.

Don't think i've seen this mentioned but looks like the train will be 4 carriages on the new one:

With 6 seats per row that's 24 riders per train then. Not bad!

Was it ever confirmed if these are spinning? I think it was denied at one point but rumours persisted.

We love that the toy shop has been rethemed to Rory’s souvenirs , it makes so much more sense considering it’s not far from where Rory loves to sing and dance for us.
