I could believe that such a ride was mentioned.
In the same way Wardley once "mentioned" Air's tunnel.

The problem is not money but Space for the looping group. I’m sure they will want to install a new coaster after the positive feedback they got on Gold Rush.
I do think the next big coaster will be a replacement of Jormungandr or they decide to move the Wave swinger to the empty area between chicken Diner and the wave. They could Move the play area to the side of the rapids which opens up the area again for another coaster.

I can see them diverting or building over Drayton Manor drive to bring a family wooden coaster to Vikings. Replacing Jormungandr directly won’t really work as it would have to follow a similar layout , this would be fresh space to use. They could also relocate the horse ride if they wanted more space / less infrastructure work

They will need to get planning permission for that as it’s outside the park boundariesI can see them diverting or building over Drayton Manor drive to bring a family wooden coaster to Vikings. They were only granted permission in 2020 to built on the Vikings area as that was green belt land.

Terrible idea, the site already has a coaster on it !Stick a coaster on the rapids site. They're barely open anyway.

Low to the ground, under and around the Intamin/Giovanola/ART mess

Just would cost far more and be a bizarre choice to design a new headliner around a coaster that will be gone in 10 yearsLow to the ground, under and around the Intamin/Giovanola/ART mess
I can't see them touching Aventure Cove for quite some time. Storm Force 10 will Likley need replacing before the wave and there are plenty of off the shelf options for that when the time comes.
The centre of the park is now the focus with maybe a new flat in Vikings at some point

I can imagine Stormforce 10 are more likely to get overhauled by the likes of Intamin over removal.I can't see them touching Aventure Cove for quite some time. Storm Force 10 will Likley need replacing before the wave and there are plenty of off the shelf options for that when the time comes.

I believe it fits Drayton Manor very well although I think it needs to do the works needed to get it's height requirement lower (to 1-1.2m)

It's an excellent ride but the throughput sucks. If they can sort the loading issues I'd be more than happy if it staysI can imagine Stormforce 10 are more likely to get overhauled by the likes of Intamin over removal.

The height doesn’t really matter for the rapids or storm force as you can’t ride them
Without a adult aged 18+ to they 14+ and
by then they more interested in Alton Towers and Thorpe Park.

I remember when I worked at a certain UK theme park during their rebranding exercise, someone from Marketing told us that the average age for a person who is 1.4 metres tall is around 8 years. This notion therefore that 1.4 metre height restriction rides don’t belong at family parks is kind of not true.

That’s incorrect, it’s 10-11.
My son isn’t projected to reach 1.4m till he’s 13-14, though he’s very much an outlier.
