I don’t like the towers car parking charge either, but at least it’s an actual paved car park. Drayton’s is a cesspit. It is a bit steep however so is Towers and its a lot cheaper than some other parks across the world

That’s appalling and no way would I be paying![]()
Yep, I want to spend £12 to park in this nonsense.

You moan here should see some parks that charge across America. And a lot more expensive than some other parks who don't charge at all
Also the parks that don't charge on parking add it to the main ticket most of the time so the ticket is more expensive overall

I'm not moaning about parking... simply stating that just because its cheaper than elsewhere doesn't make it OK... especially when that charge is for a muddy field.
Maybe it's so they can improve the Car ParkI'm not moaning about parking... simply stating that just because its cheaper than elsewhere doesn't make it OK... especially when that charge is for a muddy field.

Do they have parking attendants?Maybe it's so they can improve the Car Park
Alton dose so it makes the paying for parking seem much better as there are quite a few staff working to make sure everyone is parked correctly and help everyone leave at the end of the day

The thing is, Paultons Park and Flamingo Land are known for having really expensive ticket prices. But what people rarely mention is that those parks have free parking. Whereas Merlin and Drayton have lower entrance fees (usually), but charge you for other things like parking and push secondary spend more. Unless you’re being very cost aware, you can often ending up paying roughly the same for all the major UK parks, just in different ways.
