Interestingly the claw is the same model as Maelstrom at Drayton manor and is two years newer. Will be interesting to see how long maelstrom lasts, although different climate and maybe dreamworlds has been through my cycles with year round operation schedules.

It's a bit hard to tell from those videos but isn't that just one setting with the train facing different directions? The trains return facing the same way they departed so presumably it has to run two to offer both experiences, whereas Gold Rush can switch between the cycles whilst running one train.

My understanding is that on one train mode it does the first loop twice to alternate the direction the train arrives in the station each ride cycle. With two trains it will run one forwards and one backwards with the shorter ride cycle as shown in the pov’s.

I'm loving the black box style interior theming..! A shame, as the rest of the ride looks really quite well presented.
