Emerald Park (Formerly Tayto Park), Dublin: General Discussion

Mention Vekoma and suspended in the same sentence and I can't help but think Infusion and it just makes me want to boke.

Ok this may be of different design but I'm not really excited about it. The park is only an hour's drive for me so I hope I'm proved wrong.
 
^It will really have nothing in common with infusion these new generation Vekomas are completely new in every way from track, trains, restraints and design. Just like Lech Coaster, FoP at Paultons and F.L.Y..


Fan made recreation based off the plans. Intrigued to see how it rides, especially the supposed airtime moments. Hopefully it has lapbars similar to the SFCs.
 
Hmmmm, the STC looks somewhat exciting, the Family Boomerang less so. Got to be honest, however good these new STCs turn out to be, it's not quite the coaster I was hoping for. Probably two very sensible additions for the park mind.
 
It's a shame as the place has great potential and being the only theme park in Ireland (bar the few small amusement places) and it is doing quite well. There's something for everyone there but it definitely needs more thrill rides.

The junior boomerang I'll say fair comment for; they aren't to everyone's tastes.

Have you seen the POV of Tripsdrill's STC. however? The response from everyone who has ridden thus far indicates it's anything but dull.
