February Half Term 10th-25th 2024: Expanded Event

It would be good if they could bring the pirate show into the main season, to add some extra entertainment. Bring back that old stage too.

No idea if the previous stage was ever removed from the app, but it does appear to be there now.

Agreed, the folks at TPG are posting live updates for anyone interested (https://live.themeparkguide.co.uk/), the theming added for the event does look good in terms of quantity and quality from what has been posted so far.

Looks like a fun event with the park getting the little details, that don't cost the earth but round the whole thing off, right.

A positive start at the very least.

We had a full day at the park today from 10-4 and can safely say this event is a huge improvement on what it had become for the past few years.

If this is a sign of the events to come, I’m heavily impressed.

The pirate show is particularly good!

Really impressed with the attention to detail and quality of the theming, especially considering its not the most far reaching of events!

I agree, but it’ll take more than an overhaul of Pirate Takeover to prove that.

The park is certainly heading in the right direction though with changes implemented so far and this event has gone from something I’d do once to something I’d drop into the park for again.

It does help having a 3 year old for sure though!

I have just seen in lift hills and thrills video, it looks like an amazing event, with a large amount of things to do.
