I still don't understand why it gets the level of hate it does. There are FAR worse coasters out there. Most SLCs, for example!Goudurix is actually GOOD.

Tornado is not a pretty rollercoaster and apparently it used to be so rough that it had to have an inversion removed. I wonder did flamingo have any rough coasters because they've had a lot. I wouldn't Hero rough, just extremely painful.
Sorry that I know little but does it have the new vest OTSR? Having that would improve it immensely, maybe even shake off that reputation for good.I still don't understand why it gets the level of hate it does. There are FAR worse coasters out there. Most SLCs, for example!

Indeed, it had a Corkscrew that was so rough it was removed, the POV from 1999 shows it. Notice the moment when the ride enters the corkscrew that it is so rough the video footage can't take it!
Don't forget the cameras back then were very basic, and not as advanced as they are now. Modern cameras would be able to handle it.
Isn't Hero on the old Corkscrew site? I know one ride is but I can't remember which.Back to Flamingo Land now. Does anyone know why Flamingo Land decided to sell the Corkscrew rollercoaster which is finally getting replaced this year?
It really is as bad as it looks (without the corkscrew). The two loops are somehow okay but everything else is horribleWell. That looked bone shatteringly terrible!
Hero was installed where the Wild Mouse previously stood. The new coaster takes up the Corkscrew site and a bit of extra space as wellIsn't Hero on the old Corkscrew site? I know one ride is but I can't remember which.

Then Kumali replaced Magnum Force and The Bullet, Mumbo Jumbo replaced Tidal Wave and Velocity replaced Thunder Mountain! It really is as bad as it looks (without the corkscrew). The two loops are somehow okay but everything else is horrible

Can tell it's old because it was designed in NL1 (the old station design)I've dug out some bits relating to the cancelled wooden coaster project that the park shared with my former website back in 2010.
