Nobody seems to have updated this thread since the new coaster opened.
The ride is called 'Zokkon'. Intamin's page on the ride has a few details about it, as well as a POV.

It's always a shame to lose what is such a unique coaster, but I don't think this new is overly surprising. Sounds like they did want to try and keep it but could not find a way to re-open it in a safe manner.

Get it shipped over to Pleasure Beach, would fit right in as a (literal) bone breaking coaster.

Here are some throughput measurements for the four main rollercoasters from today.
Eejanaika attained a throughput of 256 pph (average of 4).
Fujiyama attained a throughput of 571 pph (average of 3).
Takabisha attained a throughput of 193 pph (average of 3).
Zokkon attained a throughput of 195 pph (average of 3).
