Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse (Merlin Blackpool - Project Tusk)

I have to admit, although we knew it would be something along these lines, I can't help feel it is really unimaginative. They've just opened a Peter Rabbit play area, why open another one basically next door?
For a visitor attraction company '2nd to Disney' this feels very lazy.

This was intended long before Peter Rabbit. Given the theming was built, it makes sense to finally put it to use. I'm not sure if there are any capacity grovels with Peter Rabbit, but I presume this will help to ease them. Also I suspect it's aimed at a slightly older age demographic than Peter Rabbit is.
The Merlin Monopoly of Blackpool Seafront continues.
I'm surprised they haven't bought any of the B&Bs yet to create a hotel.

They would be onto a winner if Grosvenor Casino were to surrender the lease within the Sandcastle building - with those views immediately beside the shore that would be a moneymaker. It would also be the only hotel on that side of the tram tracks apart from The Metropole (operated by Britannia Hotels... I'll say no more).

Grosvenor or similar could be incorporated into the Blackpool Central development - a preferred location for them across from their most notable competitor in town?
I know it's slightly off-topic, but as you mentioned it, the new Coronation Street Visitor Centre in Salford does looks promising.

With the money I donated them last time I was there Grosvenor should be able to afford their rent for many years to come, sadly.
Would be great to have a Casino in the Casino building.

Never been a Casino. Not sure if they ever applied or not. WGT was intermittently looking for a piece of the pie when mega casinos were touted but I am not sure how much the Pleasure Beach company could realistically have contributed given the cost of those things. Mandalay Bay cost $950m in 1999, for reference.Never had one funnily enough...I am pretty sure they never applied, but somebody will probably prove me wrong...
Calling our Rick...
This will be fine, I am sure. Kids love the Gruffalo and you can't underestimate the faff and hassle of getting to Chessington if you live in the North.
