Yeah, I thought about this after I'd made my post above, then just hoped no-one would notice and I'd get away with it. Damn you! They're opening an actual new ride next year. Hex won't be needed for marketing.
We are really quite pedantic, aren’t we?
Both sides are pretty awful if I'll be honest. Enthusiasts bitching and Merlin botching; make your pick.
Aye, though admittedly I've seen more a few wibbles take place in which the constant disappointment from Merlin and that nothing seems to be getting better has made many give up constructive criticism as they feel they aren't being heard and have nothing to do but bitch about it.It's not bitching, just constructively criticising.
It should be listed on the rides page that it’s reopening in 2024.
They've got to be careful with their wording here, as "early Autumn" is September, "mid-Autumn" is October, and "late Autumn" is November.
You realise fireworks is a 3 day event? Hex usually works for 0.87 days so we might get it for the Friday.Just in time for fireworks! Then 4 months for it to have a well deserved rest.
You joke, but I suspect this is exactly the plan. They clearly don't expect it to last long when it does open, hence they are holding off for the busier Halloween period and maybe fireworks. Then hopefully over the closed season they can implement a fix that does allow it to operate for more than a week or so at a time.Just in time for fireworks! Then 4 months for it to have a well deserved rest.
