Well sure, but there's a vast and noticeable difference between genuine constructive criticism... and whining negativity that at this point feels little more than performativeNot sure I agree, it's a symptom of being enthusiastic about something rather than just more passively enjoying it.
I seem to recall a lot of talk about Rita ruining Ug Land, for example. Kumbak ruining Grand National is another that springs to mind.
Not every change is positive unfortunately and when something you really like is changed even moderately for the worse it can feel like it has been ruined.
I think an RGB lighting invasion of Hex's finale is a significant source of legitimate criticism.Well sure, but there's a vast and noticeable difference between genuine constructive criticism... and whining negativity that at this point feels little more than performative
I am not sure how, unless if 2 rows were deactivated (restraint issue???) as I think they have to balance each side of the swing, considering where I was i n the queue for a 20 min wait, I would sat a fill queue is about 40-50 mins.Is Hex on full capacity at the moment? Or are they loading less than the full amount of guests per cycle?
I only ask because a queue of 55 mins is pretty much unheard of for Hex even on a busy Scarefest Saturday.
If it is being loaded full and just popular due to its reopening then that’s good news I guess.
Speaking of which, other than the wee mishap in its reopening day, I take it that it has been operating well since then perhaps more times than the last two years combined? Which that in itself is telling of how poor a condition it was in.Great to see such a well loved ride re-opened and a 40 min queue to match! Let’s hope it lasts a bit longer than the 2017 refurb!
Yep, and according to the times of the pics I took inside the vault after it happened it was at about 6.10pmPoint of order, the mishap happened on its second day of operation. Not the reopening day.
It's a nice ride and i'm glad i did it once but don't think it has any re-ride value.
Two WordsFinally had my first ever ride on Hex tonight so thought i'd share my thoughts:
- For me i think it was the best madhouse i've been on (of the 3 in the UK). I liked the whole narrative aspect of multiple pre-shows and the actual ride itself was the best decorated (plus the ending light effect was novel).
- Conversely my wife and son were unimpressed and prefer Legolands version. They found it a bit long and boring.
- Agree with the comment above that the process is a bit tedious. We were in the first room for 3 cycles of the video (not that i could hear it on any of them).

Don't think anyone can really argue with this.but don't think it has any re-ride value.
