Wow! Literally the only bad words I’ve hear about MM. Everton is entitled to their opinions, but I’m afraid you’re wrongI hate to say it because I'm one of the biggest proponents for non-IP rides, but I found it a bit boring.I can't put my finger on why...possibly it needed a bit more mystery/scariness.

Hong Kong Disneyland achieved!
Despite not arriving till 230pm i got on everything i wanted in about 3 hours! The park was super easy to get to, i jumped in an Uber and was there in under 20 minutes. The train looked easy enough but was saying about an hour so figured i'd make the most of my time not knowing what to expect. The entrance felt like you were in Florida, long heavily landscaped roads full of tropical foliage followed by the long walk to the park/hotels. It's a uniquely Disney thing in my experience where the parks tend to be their own towns and sets the tone for your visit.
In the end the longest advertised queue i faced was 30 minutes but they all ended up being a maximum of 20 minutes.
Started straight on Grizzly Mountain as this was one of my essential rides. It was pretty fun! Fairly tame but a good long ride with a couple of interesting moments. A modern day BTM really.
The theming, as with every ride and the entire park, was delightful. My initial horror at an advertised 30 minute cattle-pen soon evaporated when the queue was seen to be constantly moving and the ride on 4, count em, 4 trains! Fast Track and RAP seemed barely used across the entire park. Queuing is INFINITELY more tolerable when you're constantly moving and gave me confidence for the rest of the park.
Next to this was my other essential ride, Mystic Manor. Jumped from 10 min to 30 min by the time i got there but was on in under 20. Very similar to Symbolica at Efteling and imo not quite as good.... but still very good!
Walked through Toy Story world but there was nothing i wanted to go on here so passed straight through to Frozen.... where both rides were advertised as 50 minutes so decided to detour to Tomorrowland. Space Mountain was temporarily closed but literally as i walked past the entrance it reopened so walked straight on, hurrah! Fun enough but very tame compared to Paris. Arguably the Star Wars effects worked better being able to see them more at the slower pace.
After this did Ant Man and Iron Man which were both near walk on. The former was basically the Toy Story ride from Paris with less character and the latter was Star Tours so that was enjoyable enough.
Frozen was now 30 minutes so headed over, didn't take many photos but...
This area was delightful and the natural landscape of the area really adds to it too, basically the opposite of Universal Osaka. Fantastic views everywhere and they had snow blowing about too! I wasn't too bothered about doing the ride seeing as i'll ride it in Paris next year but figured i might as well with how quick things were going.
A brilliant ride, the best in the park. It gets a lot of stick due to the Tokyo version but i think on its own merit it really delivers. Incredible animatronics and a great ride layout. A modern day Pirates if you will.
Wasn't going to bother with the Frozen coaster as the queue wasn't dropping below 40 min and heard it's pretty bad. But as i'd been so quick doing everything figured screw it and got a Fast Track just for this one for about £10 and walked straight on (past the main line which looked VERY long). It was a nice enough little coaster with great theming again but the length was a complete joke, couldn't have lasted 30 seconds! An unacceptable coaster for a Disney park.
(Edit update i watched a POV and it was 50 seconds from leaving the station to the brake run and half of that was the lift hill).
The 3 coasters all felt very similar in general, not sure if they're all the same manufacturer. Gave me a renewed appreciation for how some other parks approach their coaster additions. I'm not quite sure what the logic was in adding this ride beyond milking the Frozen IP.
They were also building something next to it, a massive area was fenced off and cranes were lifting things onto a building frame. I don't know if it's a ride or not but looked pretty big.
And finally, went on Winnie the Pooh for a laugh. Advertised 30 but on in 12. A pleasant enough little dark ride.
The fireworks were cancelled due to the recent tragedy and the masses were heaving for the parade so decided my visit was done.
Definitely the most basic Disney park i've been to by their standards but still very nice. I don't think there are any truly great attractions (other than Frozen) except Mystic Manor for the dark ride fans but it's all still got that Disney quality.
Much like Japan, the influencers were running wild. Genuinely felt like there were more people there to hang out and get photos at various locations. Much like Japan the lines for food were very long so ended up not eating anything.
I'm glad i went, it was cool to see it and tick off some of those exclusive attractions. It's a bit sad going on my own tbh, every ride they didn't fill the empty seat next to me so there was a Bowser Jr shaped hole at each point. They did put me in the front seat on almost every ride though! Don't think i'd go back but easily a park you can do in a day, even if it was busy.

I love Hong Kong Disneyland, it feels way less overwhelming than Tokyo Disneyland, but still has its own charm.
