Hotel Bed Sizes

Hi I was planning to book a room in alton towers hotel with 2 adults and 2 teens. They are 2 boys and wanted to know if anyone has slept in the bunks or the trundle bed who are grown adult size. I spoke to alton towers customer service but wasnt convinced they knew as the answer changed.
 
Splash is better. Bunks seem a shade bigger. I'm 5' 11" and was fine. The Lodges have a bit more privacy (but not much more)
