Legoland Discovery Centre - the trafford centre

Surely banning any group of people is discrimination? This is exactly why Towers can't ban "a certain type of guest that tends to visit in large groups twice a year".

The law only covers the following protected characteristics
  • age
  • being or becoming a transsexual person
  • being married or in a civil partnership
  • being pregnant or having a child
  • disability
  • race including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin
  • religion, belief or lack of religion/belief
  • sex
  • sexual orientation
So the certain group at AT would come under "race including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin".

Somebody could try taking the LDC to court over age discrimination possibly as they are preventing childless over 16s attending the attraction, but not sure how successful that would be.

You can be discriminated against for having a child, but not for not having one? Makes perfect sense.
