MINI MEET: Resort Sleepover 29.11-1.12.13

Good news :p
Apparently you've got the pleasure of my company Saturday night and most of Sunday, thanks to a nice bit of last minute planning. Really wanted to see the resort decked out for Christmas (even for a complete Scrooge like myself, reckon it will hold some magic!) and see everyone, of course.

Turns out money transfers aren't as easy as they pretend they are, so as I said on Facebook, I'll make sure I have the cash for Mr. Gilmore on Saturday :) I'll be there around lunchtime as I'd sooner give the waterpark/spa etc. a miss.
 
Even someone as unsociable as me is going to be there... :p looking forward to seeing everyone :)
 
In case people didn't know, Alton Towers have emailed all bookers for this weekend that we will all get theme park access from 11am to 6pm on Sunday for the winter offering!

Ok it's all kids rides, but a few of us went last year and the park looks lovely at Christmas with all the Christmas trees and lights everywhere, I can't wait to see it again.
 
I'm so excited to see it all done up for Christmas. This has been such a year of firsts for me: first meet, first Scarefest, first Fireworks and now first time seeing the park decorated for Christmas.

Can't wait to see you all! :D

I love how the park stays open later in the closed season than it does in most of the main season... :p
 
I am now considering doing the Spa on Sunday; given that the park is open till 6pm on Sunday, I would like to be in there as darkness falls (perhaps go into the park around 1.30pm for lunch and a wander, and hang around till 4/5pm as it gets dark).

Unsure what time people want to hang around until.

I had a great weekend, full of laughs! I loved the park, waterpark, bars, restaurants and of course friends :)

I loved this weekend. It was relaxed, fun, silly and very, VERY random! I made a complete fool of myself being too drunk, but with you guys I don't feel judged.
