totally agree, just been reading in the general discussion about the "break down" any ideas what broke? was the chain replaced? is the hill lift any quieter, it was getting really noisy

It'll probably be noisy again before long. A few years ago on the first Saturday of Feb Half Term opening it had clearly had something done to it and was as quiet as Inferno's lift hill. By the following weekend it was back its usual rough-sounding self!

It was the lift motor that was replaced afaik

No, the lift was most definitely slower and much quieter yesterday , but Nemmy seemed to be running a little faster in the hearLift seemed quieter yesterday when I went on, it did however also seem quite a bit slower, not sure why that would be? Could just be me imagining it!

Just to confirm from my trip to towers yesterday ALL the 21 signs are still up, except for the one near the station on he photo sign, which I imagine has fallen off.

Nemesis is well known for fans taking it too far and too seriously. But is this 'article' getting a fair bit of attention a new peak/low?
Although, I suppose stuff like this does highlight how good Nemesis is as a theme, that it can conjour up such weird imagery. It wasn't totally unintentional that it looks like an unexplainable gorey, organic 'organ'!
That weird imagery all part of the fun of a themed coaster of course. But how that makes it a feminist icon I don't know. If this article was clearly more a joke and the title 'why Nemesis is a big bleeding vagina' it might have been good, haha.
Edit—Apparently the author of this article is Thorpe Park's senior brand manager. Ok then.

Well coasters have no gender, so I think the debate is settled on that front haha

That piece from Jordan is undoubtedly specifically designed at least in part to wind up blokey theme park nerds. To be honest, she makes a pretty good case and the Nemesis is definitely female. Oblivion meanwhile, is much more masculine, as is Galactica, whereas I think it's original guise as Air was much more gender-fluid.
John Wardley, lads. More like John Wokely, eh?

The same person who lost all credibility when she declared The Walking Dead ride (which she had a hand in) was “the world’s scariest ride”

You can predict pretty much every article she writes. Suppose you can’t blame her too much, it’s the job after all
