Nemesis: Sub-Terra

I’m still hoping they go down the oblivion operatives route from its construction period with the staff/actor training, the whole point of this ride is the mystery of what’s underground, so having people shouting at you kind of works against that. Either way it’s very nice to finally see this back and I hope it lasts longer than just this season and next, but with the effort they’ve put into reopening it I’m confident it will.

I personally reckon it’s been the plan to re-open it alongside the nemesis retrack all along.

It’ll remain open for the forseeable now, as you say far too much work has gone into getting it operational to then close it again shortly afterward. The park has certainly shown that they’re not shy of drafting in temporary rides to fill a void if needed so I’m sure they’d have gone down that route rather than investing resource into opening an SBNO attraction if that we’re the aim.

I am happy to see this reinstated!

Really hoping the experience hasn’t been neutered in a CRR style response to certain previous rumours.

I always enjoyed the ride, especially with newbies and watching their reactions to being prodded and whipped

Whipped?

Are you sure you were going on the actual ride in Forbidden Valley not taken into some weirdo’s shed under false pretences?

Woah, now I understand why people complain about the actors. That's a bit much!

He's actually talking about the dop tower section, there were back prodders and leg tickers in the seats.
There is no dop tower.
Just mentioned this reopening to my good lady, who rode it with me back in the day.
Two word answer to the news...missing out the swearwords, she said absolutely nothing.

To be fair it was fairly obvious that something was going on with it from the point it became evident that it wasn’t being used for Scarefest.

I don’t think it took Sherlock Holmes to work it out really.

I agree. Once it was confirmed that NST was not hosting the new scare attraction, surely it was inevitable that some sort of permanent attraction was going in the NST building?

The website lists the attraction as 1.4m, but i could have sworn it was a 1.2m before, though I might be confusing it with CATCF.
