I would REALISTICALLY LIKE to see a thorough clean and paint of the entirity of the queue line, station and trains, along with any other TLC style works we have seen so far else where. I would also like to see the reopening of the shop with the tills and photo kiosk combined so that it doesn't require extra labour costs.
I would WISH to see all of the above, plus a minor rebrand with new music and backwards facing back rows.
I EXPECT to see absolutely nothing at all.

Backwards facing back rows, or side facing back rows
Some new merch would be nice but as Matthew said I don't expect anything as Nemesis is probably a one off. Would love to see something like a talk they did with Nemesis though, be interesting to know more in how it all came about with the marketing strategy for the ride. I've lost count in the amount of times I watched the magic factory.

They'll probably be some merchandise (for the £££) and maybe some temporary Leek Signs but I cannot see anything else happening. Oblivion was re-painted in 2013 so there is no chance of that happening again and the station exterior has also had work done to it recently.

Enclosing the block before the lift hill to create a preshow using some lord of darkness clips projected onto an upwards sliding door that opens to allow the ride up the lift hill. That could work. Maybe throw some mist effects in there too. Hell you could even use a shipping container...

Unfortunately this can't be done as the photo sales staff are employed by PicSolve not Alton Towers so I don't think they can combine merchandise and photo sales anymore.

Backwards facing seats and added inversions have been spoken about for Oblivion for as far as I can remember and thankfully have never happened!

But you could argue that Oblivion's repaint was a cheap repaint done by Merlin and the track faded back to grey within 2 years however Nemesis' repaint was done by specialists, which was part of the Towers management team's decision. Oblivion could definitely do with a repaint, Nothing stopped them refurbing Ice Age just to remove it the next year...They'll probably be some merchandise (for the £££) and maybe some temporary Leek Signs but I cannot see anything else happening. This is Alton Towers we are talking about...

This is just not really based on any fact and painting a coaster is technically a lot more complicated than that. But you could argue that Oblivion's repaint was a cheap repaint done by Merlin and the track faded back to grey within 2 years however Nemesis' repaint was done by specialists, which was part of the Towers management team's decision.
Nemesis was technically better, but scenically bad - shimmering white and black supports with a very 'painted-on' rust effect. The original paint needed a complete redo after decaying over time, but the new job is rushed and removes a lot of what made the track look visually unique.
Oblivion if I remember was just painted a new coat instead of primed properly, but there could be many reasons why it faded a bit since - we don't know what kind of paint they used, whether they cleaned it correctly, etc. Still it looks far better than it had done before the recent repaint so credit where it's due and not much need to repaint it all over again. And no need to draw arbitrary lines between "done by Merlin" and "Towers management" - Towers management can only do what they can afford from Merlin's funding and standards right? And we don't really know who arranged what, I'd assume both were motivated by Towers management.

What would everyone think to Oblivion being fitted with "vest" restraints?

The cost of re-painting a theatre exterior is somewhat different to the cost of re-painting a rollercoaster. You could argue that Oblivion's re-paint was a cheap job but is there any actual evidence of this? It looked so much better after it was done and still looks better now than it did in say 2012.

They'd better not touch the trains apart from a repaint. Any row changes or restraint changes would be bloody stupid and they won't edit the track (we pray). Maybe turn the lift back up (rumoured to be turned down since 1998) return the LOD at the top of the drop, return the original station videos, TLC it all and fix the throughput (Mandatory free lockers ideal, or open gates immediately in the station to speed things up)

I will be happy with this years TLC focusing on Oblivion. Blast the concrete, try and restore the mist back to its former glory, and bring back the "Don't Look Down" speakers.
However thats probably very wishful thinking and theyll stick up a couple of vinyls.

I would love to see a bit more in the way of theming and a general bit of TLC.
