It might be that, but it is Paulton's first inverting coaster!!The overhype on this thing.
It's a basic, short Eurofighter.
It'll be fine.

The Merlin marketing team will be apoplectic.

I know we all knew it was there from the plans, but that hang time at the end is absolutely mental for a coaster that's supposed to be kiddies first inversions step up.
I have higher hopes for (eurofighter comparitive) comfort now, not because I expect the train or restraints to be any better, but because the layout doesn't seem to have any of the really snappy transitions that cause the worst of the problems. Fingers crossed.
The most painful bit of Saw isn’t the snappy transitions, it’s the bottom on the first drop.
That said this looks fine, as Dan says it’s an ok looking ride with one interesting hang time element. It will do good things for Paultons though.

I watched a testing video taken by an enthusiast online earlier and it was riddled with 'wow', 'the speed', 'incredible'.
I love the park but for goodness sake.
I just cannot get excited for this coaster, as much as I will be visiting early on to check it out. I remain hacked off they went with this manufacturer and this model.
Maybe I am getting old.
I am sure it'll all look lovely!

I can see why they went with Gerst though, given that Cobra (now Raven) is also a Gerst.
