That looks epic! Nice to see they've got the automatic storage bins tooNot sure if this has been posted before, certainly couldn't find anything, but the station theming for Storm Chaser is great!

I honestly cannot get over the level of theming in the area!

This is incredible!
Although they have said it will open 19th March, I wouldn't be surprised if they soft open parts of the area in Feb Half term

Not going to lie I kind of like the video. It's corney but I don't feel like Paultons are trying to oversell the park they are. They know their market (young families) and they've made it clear what they are offering.
Sort of reminds me of the light hearted ads Europa produce. It's not too dissimilar to Blue Fires original ad.

Boo to this response.
It's consistent with the Facebook marketing over the last year, its nicely produced, it gives a little bit of backstory and concept that ties the rides and themes together without labouring it, it shows the scale of the rides and an accurate (if anything slightly underplayed) idea of the scale rather than promising something then under delivering, it explicitly shows the age it is marketed at.
It does all the things Merlins marketing machine gets wrong, and the people it attracts will not be underwhelmed.
You can’t please all the people all the time. If people think it’s too cheesy then that’s a perfectly valid opinion. UG Land at Alton Towers had the same criticism.
A lot of enthusiasts have complained that Thorpe and Alton have too many dark and sinister areas. Enthusiasts have complained that there are too many intellectual properties and not enough new ideas. If this is too cheesy, then I think it does show that you can’t have one area that appeals to everyone.
They’ve said at various times that the area’s going to have a fake radio station, which I’m assuming will be like Thunder Rock Rally Radio or Amity Cove Radio. This is meant to be a tongue in cheek take on Americana. I love it, but I accept it’s not going to be to everyone’s taste. Humour is particularly subjective.
We haven’t had many funny attractions for a while though. In the early 2000s we had a lot of comedy attractions: Beano Land, Amity Cover, Excalibur, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the Ride… from the 90s we had Toyland Tours and the Bubble Works. It feels like it’s time for something light hearted and funny.
