Pet Hates

Just had an old favourite again. Just popped in the chip shop to get a cone of chips as I was nearby anyway. "Can I have a cone of chips please"? "Sorry mate, it's gonna be a few minutes on the chips".

What the hell have you been doing all morning pal?

Well, it's on the guys price board as a cone, but when you order it he actually gives you a small bag of chips.

However, I didn't get my cone/bag today unfortunately. When he told me about the wait time for chips I told him I'll just wait outside in the car for 5 minutes and then come back. However, disaster struck whilst I was in the car! A couple of other customers walked into the previously empty chippy whilst I was in the car, so not only was I waiting for chips now, I'd also have to wait for the other two customers to get served before me. Then it started absolutely tipping it down with rain! Taking all of this misfortune into account, I decided to go home and just make myself a couple of corned beef sandwiches. So, the chip vendor didn't get his £2.60 out of me for that potential sale. That'll teach him for not having chips ready in a chip shop! I bet he's crying now. More stories on the way next week!
 
I've been on road class 2ing for 10 months now. Doing some research I have come up with a venn diagram of which brand of car are driven badly by gender. (I know now gender is not man/woman thing anymore. But please excuse me on that.)

Left hand circle MALE:-
BMW
Audi

Right hand Circle FEMALE:-

Tesla
 
My lovely volvo goes in for repair diagnostics this weekend, again.
The occasional random get you home mode is ok, but the refusal to give reverse gear sometimes is getting very annoying, as a number of my punters live on cul de sacs...stick that in your driving route plans!
