I think it may also have something to do with parts being made with different operating tolerances for different countries.
A ride built in Orlando will need to withstand different temperatures and conditions on a regular basis to a ride built in Britain, for example. You occasionally see rides close at Alton Towers due to “extreme heat” when we have a particularly hot spell (such as the one we had in 2022), but you never see this in Orlando where the temperatures climb to Britain’s “extreme heat” threshold on quite a regular basis in the summer months.
