I think it's worth noting that a lot of rides are built with trims, for various reasons. A lot of B&M hypers have trims out of the box and they're added with a full knowledge of the forces and speeds on the ride. The trims are required for multiple reasons, wheel wear is a serious issue as rides get faster and trims offer flexibility (dependent on wind speed, temperature, passenger load etc) to aid comfort, maintenance etcIs anyone really surprised that it has trims? I can't think of a single major ride built in the last decade that hasn't been neutered by trims in some way. It's like these designers think they know better than physics, for crying out loud!
