Not sure, but it wouldn't be the first Intamin coaster that has needed some kind of mod!

I believe those trims are right near the end of the ride anyway to slow it down for the turn into the brakes.

Is anyone really surprised that it has trims? I can't think of a single major ride built in the last decade that hasn't been neutered by trims in some way. It's like these designers think they know better than physics, for crying out loud!

I think it's worth noting that a lot of rides are built with trims, for various reasons. A lot of B&M hypers have trims out of the box and they're added with a full knowledge of the forces and speeds on the ride. The trims are required for multiple reasons, wheel wear is a serious issue as rides get faster and trims offer flexibility (dependent on wind speed, temperature, passenger load etc) to aid comfort, maintenance etc

Intamin, well... they have a history of having to rebuild various sections of rides (the roll on Maverick, the first turn on I305 etc) - adding/moving trims has happened on multiple occasions.

Who knows what's happening with this particular ride, I guess we can rely on the PR department at Phantasialand to tell us in detail, with photographic evidence.

I can't believe how well hidden all of the supports are! It all looks very good and I can't wait to see it in person in the summer.

Nope.

One of the perks of mainland Europe, they didn't allow one company to form a Theme Park monopoly. I wish we could have rides like this but when slapping VR on Air is good enough to remain the market leader why bother making something magnificent?

I've just added this to my itinary to visit when I'm in Europe in a couple of weeks. Looks epic!!
