Planet Coaster 2: General Discussion

Responses from the masses are a bit peeved about them announcing a DLC given the game's state (which I've been mostly fine with).

Probably coinciding with the big hotfix also out today.

It's not a hotfix today, it's the first free big update.

It really annoys me the way some of them are commenting on it. They're behaving like they are being forced to buy it in order to carry on playing the game. If you don't want to spend £8 (or £1.60 per ride) to make a point that the game isn't in a good enough state then don't!!

I think I have found a bug since the update - can anyone confirm they see the same behaviour on their PC version?

Select any piece of scenery, preferably a non-gridded item. Its Settings menu opens on the right. Now try and close that menu using the X top right. It won't close. Even if you place the item leaving the "next" item attached to your cursor, it still won't close with the X. The only way to close it is to click the middle mouse button/wheel to exit out of placement mode.

Also, while you have the scenery piece attached to your cursor, if you click any of the Move icons (Move, Advanced Move, Rotate or Scale) in the Settings menu the game places your piece down "behind" the menu, effectively where your cursor is in your field of view on the screen, which of course is not where you want to place that item!

If others experience the same as me, I'll log it on the Frontier Issue Tracker, if not, I'll try reinstalling the game as I know for some users that has solved other issues in the past.

Yep I've noticed that as well! Super annoying.

Always the risk when buying new games these days.

Even big sellers end up on sale a few weeks or months after initial release. Unless it's Nintendo.

Hi guys, does anyone know if you can attach scenery to the drop tracks on Planco 2? I.e the wooden planks on Thirteen? And if so how do you go about doing this?
