Does anybody else like this? I know I do its my favorite toy, my favorite set being the airport which i've conbined with an older airport to make two terminals....I also have a very rare Lufthansa LearJet which was only realesed in Germany . Do you like Playmobil? ;)

If you had Playmobil your parents hated you. LEGO clearly is superior.
 
I still own 3 full boxes of lego and random bits are scattered around the house.
And hvent you noticed there are no theme parks based on playmobil.
Albiet the lego parks are a bit rubbish.
 
I have Lego aswell but its too much faffing about! And dare I say it Playmobil is far more customisable :)

I personally never liked Playmobil. Wasn't my thing. The people were too lumpy!

I had both LEGO and playmobil when I was younger. Playmobil is nice to look at and is okay to build, but LEGO is far superior.

But hey, It's better than Mega Blocks!

To be fair, as has been said, it's not quite as bad as Mega Blocks. Even then, I came across this hideous abomination in a Works the other day... I nearly keeled over on the spot...

I'm curious why we're comparing Playmobil to Lego. I got the chance to play with both when I was younger and they're two completely different things :p

I'd say that Playmobil is like a very customizable dolls house (although obviously not limited to houses but that's what playing with it felt like) while Lego is a creative building toy.

Now if we're going to start talking about M*** B**** that's a different story entirely :mad:
I honestly don't know how so many companies can attempt to make a cheap rip-off of Lego and yet none of them stick together properly or feel right.

Oh and Doctor Who fans look away now:

I reckon if a child receives that set from his parents, the parents either hate them and/or they're clueless and can't LEGO and ripoffs apart.

Or they're on a shoe string budget and can't afford real Lego so have to resort to a cheaper alternative.
 
Can someone explain the mega blocks hate to someone who was never really into that or lego?
 
Aren't mega blocks just oversized duplo though? I don't see how they're comparable really.
