If decorated well, it could be a good addition. Look at the past rides Black Revolver at Drayton Manor and Black Hole at Blackpool Pleasure Beach - both Waltzers in the dark, and neither looked fairground-y at all.

That's true, actually. With a decent lighting rig and a banging sound track it could even be "more than just good".

I'm not so sure. I reckon B&M have finally sorted out their 4D concept and this will be the prototype! Makes perfect sense when you think about it, been kept totally under the radar at a small theme park most people outside of the UK won't have heard of...

Really have no idea what this is, that photo could be anything from a coaster to a plastic lid!
Guess we will just have to wait and see.
 
Wait no more, Pleasurewood Hills has revealed there new ride: Hyperdrive Dodgems which look set to open on the 1st April 2015! And the best part of this announcement is that they are actually a new ride, as the old Dodgems will still be in there place! Hopefully these will be well themed and a good addition to the Park!

All that hype for... dodgems. Well, we didn't expect anything major I suppose. Hoping this is more unique than the standard fairground ride.
 
At least they look like they'll be themed...

Stupid thing is the park already has dodgems that they're keeping as well!

I note from Facebook they've started calling the other dodgems the mini dodgems, So I would hope that these are bigger and faster! I know on the old dodgems, some of the cars are slower than others and would hope these are more consistent.
