Plopsaland De Panne General Discussion
Post Brexit all banana rolls will be replaced by a straight piece of track.
I was worried this might happen.

Layout looks good.
Shame it’s located partly over and next to a body of water, pretty much guaranteeing that the whole ride will be marred by the odour of fresh sewage.
Maybe they’re hedging their bets. If the spinning doesn’t make you vomit, the smell will. At least the park lives up to its name I guess...

Essentially. A banana roll only inverts once, whereas a cobra roll inverts twice. Same sensation I suppose though.Ah, so it's a half arsed cobra roll then.

Looks a bit good.
This is going to be my top 2021 for most anticipated unless Ceader Point go for their rumoured 500ft Coaster. Can't wait to try time traveler next year and this looks like it will have an even better layout

Bump! Hadn't realised that we've not had any updates in this thread all year.
Plopsa's new Mack Xtreme Spinner is coming along nicely. Footers were completed over the summer and the coaster has now gone vertical.
That inversion out of the station is looking lovely!

Here’s some photos showing the construction (and vile green lake )

Some horribly complex looking supports in there! Have Mack been to the Gerstlauer school of support design?!
I also pity any worker who has to spend their day walking in that cesspool of a lake while building this.
Layout’s looking good though. Some interesting manoeuvres like that dipped turn in the last photo.

Reminds me a bit of West Coast Racers spaghetti bowl section tbh and that lake does not look pretty at the moment however i'm sure they'll improve on it, hopefully! Looks good to see more of it complete though! Some horribly complex looking supports in there! Have Mack been to the Gerstlauer school of support design?!

I reckon anyone working in the lake would have waders on.

Waders will do nothing to keep the stench at bay. Seriously, that lake is absolutely revolting. Looking on Google Maps you’d be forgiven for thinking there’s a well-maintained green lawn around the Super Splash, but nope. Just lovely rancid green water.
Anyhoo, back to the coaster.
