Queue time information

I'm a big fan of these new screens. The current ones are so frustrating and tacky. I hope that these new screens have every ride on them, as sometimes, rides like Ripsaw are walk on with other rides such as Rita, have waits of 90 minutes.

I like the themed bars for each attraction! :)

Looks like they really are imminent now, I'd imagine the aim is to get them up and working for the summer holidays. Good news!

:)

Really like the look of the new board and glad the whole park will be getting them and not just one at the box office.

Presumably these will be a lot easier to maintain/fix than the current ones? They always seem to be part broken with half the text missing!

Presumably they'll be large LED screens like the ones at Thorpe. Think the Marmaliser or modern football advertising boards for what I mean screen wise.

These are heavy duty and less prone to lines missing etc like the current ones.

You say that but the Marmaliser screen was on at times over the closed season! :p
Turn electrical equipment off over winter when outside, then the frost gets to the wiring and you won't have it working come Spring!

Hence everything like TVs and LEDs remain on over winter, to keep the wires warm!

A new queue time board. Looks very nice!

Bit smaller than I expected, but I like it. An improvement on the previous boards.

Ooh, very nice - that wasn't there on Sunday!

One slight criticism I have is that it's not always obvious what the ride actually is. Hex in particular is very difficult to make out on that photo. Still a massive improvement on the old system in almost every way - it looks better, features more rides, has more rides per page and doesn't have Air on every page for no reason. Putting less popular rides on there might even help balance queues better at peak times - it makes sense to remind people that the likes of Duel and Hex have short queues!

Love it! Looks good physically, and the graphics are nice too. Wonder if they will all be the same size?

Love love love love LOVE!

Way better than expected - looks bloody fantastic. Presume the ones where old boards were might be larger? Even if not - these are great!

That looks brilliant! I'd imagine they'll be the same all around the park but they really are a huge improvement.

:)

Well this is certainly a pleasant step in the right direction. A little too small for my liking, but unquestionably an improvement over the old system. It's a shame they perhaps didn't paint this one grey and engrave an X Sector logo into the top of it, paving the way for appropriate boards around the park, but it's nice to see this system is more vibrant and features more variation of the ride line up.

The blank triangle on top does cause me to question wether they may actually put the area logo up top, just like some of those old advertising boards around park. Other than that they're great! Larger ones would be good in places like the entrance plaza and the Towers gateway.

I wouldn't be surprised if some sort of vinyl was put onto the boards. I agree that the odd larger one would be useful, idealy in places where larger number of guests are likely to gather such as Towers Street. No doubt we will find out soon enough!

:)

That looks great. I think it is just the right size for where it has be placed. I hope they have larger ones to replace the one towers, and mutiny bay.
