Queue Times Discussion 2024

That was entirely expected. Obviously a piece of code that broke with a recent update and has now been patched. No way would Merlin have made a conscious decision to be more transparent.
Except you can view Thorpe, Legoland and Chessington’s outside of the park. It’ll be an Alton Towers management decision, not a Merlin one.

I genuinely think if everyone hadn’t made such a song and danced over it, it would’ve taken them longer to turn off.

Folks are likely aware, but just incase not - you can always just check queue times at https://www.ride-times.co.uk/ so it doesn’t really matter that the park block them on the app.
This is what I use all the time anyway. Gives a bit of nostalgia. I remember years ago seeing Air on 50 mins and thinking wow that’s a long queue for Air not often you see that. Now it happens all the timeFolks are likely aware, but just incase not - you can always just check queue times at https://www.ride-times.co.uk/ so it doesn’t really matter that the park block them on the app.
