I think I rode it in 1992 or possibly 1991. It left the country after Grand Pier.

I might have to disappoint you, pretty sure I rode that in conjunction with a visit to the Radio 1 Roadshow around the same time. I can't say I have a clear memory of it though.

I didn't know that ride ever existed ! The restraints are quite a curious design.

There were a handful of Blizzards in the UK. I remember riding the one at Porthcawl.

Ah yes, I recall the Coney Beach one. I think it had lapbars.

First drop was pretty good. It wasn't very comfortable. The experience relied more on it being on the edge of a Pier overlooking the sea (when the tide was in). Some on here may have ridden it beforehand also as I have no idea where it was before it came to Weston. It wasn't there long, I want to say 3 or 4 years, so I doubt it was bought brand new.
