RCT4M- New RCT Mobile Game?

Not as bad as expected, obviously all the time constraints and so on are there as would be expected in a 'not-so-freemium' game, but the game itself certainly rewards you with plenty of coins and 'premium' currency so building coasters is easy enough :)

just to put it another way, if you want the best coaster in the game without levelling up, it'll cost you 333 tickets which equates to around £30!! ridiculous....

Well I certainly won't be spending any of my money on this game. For what it is it looks awful. If it had been free and then had in game purchasing options then I would probably have downloaded it and seen what it was like.

I pray that the computer game has had much more thought put into it. If it is anything like this mobile version then I think there will be a lot of extremely disappointed people.

:)

Okay, graphics, gameplay wise it's nothing compared to the original games. But for a 'fermium' game, it's doing a pretty bad job at taking my money. Apart from the £1.99 to buy it, it's cost me nothing. You can quickly, and easily earn coins and tickets (which allow you to buy the premium content) through levelling up and in game mini-games.

It's good, cheap fun, but nothing compared to originals.

I downloaded RCT4M a few weeks ago, for free, and I hate to say this, but I'm really enjoying it! Yes, it appears to be free on the app store now, with the only purchases being in-game. I'm playing it on my iPad, so I don't know how it would be to play on an iPod/iPhone.

It's really easy to not have to spend any real cash on the game. You start out with a certain amount of coins and 40 tickets. Make sure you place lots of shops, eateries and hotels to gain lots of money on a daily basis. As aforementioned, there are lots of building time restrictions. My resort took 28 hours to build and my double swinging ship is taking 30+. You can avoid this by spending tickets, but if you have the patience, just wait it out amd save the tickets for other things. That's where I went wrong lol!

The goals are also good fun, and despite sometimes costing you a fair few coins to complete, you get coin and ticket rewards in completion, and also get closer to levelling up. Levelling up equally gifts you free coins and tickets, which is really handy.

So yeah, a nice fun, slightly - but not too - addictive game. Would happily recommend, just don't fall into the trap of spending all your tickets, as they take ages to get back.

:)

I was going to say if it's free I might give it a try... but... I've just been watching the game play video Rob posted at launch and couldn't help but noticing this:

"Types of Roller Coaster: Wooden, Steel, Titanium, Carbon..."
... I'm stunned.

and correct me if I'm wrong but no banking on wooden coasters? This may be an ok "cow clicker" if they've removed the entry payment but it's not a game.
If you have iOS I recommend Coaster Crazy from Frontier (RCT3's creators).
