Interestingly Galactica and Sub Terra broke yesterday during the afternoon, so they might not be storm related.Wicker man, Galactica and Sub-terra were the rides that didn't open today. They managed to get Rita, Thirteen and Spinball open so it should definitely be better tommorow if they open from the start
Is it the CCTV that's been affected on certain rides due to the storms?Interestingly Galactica and Sub Terra broke yesterday during the afternoon, so they might not be storm related.

3 CBeebies rides (Get Set Go, Go Jetters and Postman Pat), Congo River Rapids and Gangsta Granny were also casualties from today, not opening at all.

Rumours on Twitter it’s cctv related. Or at least some of the issues. Is it the CCTV that's been affected on certain rides due to the storms?
Potentially its Wicker man that's been affected by CCTV and not Galactica and Sub-terra if they closed early yesterdayRumours on Twitter it’s cctv related. Or at least some of the issues.

Good to see they’ve communicated today as the situation still looks the same
(Hint: they haven’t, again)
It really shouldn't be that hard, guests turning up today who weren’t there yesterday will probably have no idea what occurred, already significant complaints less than an hour in

I can almost forgive them for yesterday, the storm damage was overnight and so they didn’t know what level of disruption it would cause to operations.
Today is not acceptable, they have known now what is likely to be able to open and what isn’t, and yet it’s radio silence from the park. Nothing on their website, nothing on social media. At the least they should be acknowledging operational difficulties and giving people the option of re-scheduling their trips for another date - leaving people to travel for hours when you know you can’t open your rides is very poor.

Exactly this, it’s unacceptable and makes the park look embarrassing imo, especially living in this day and age with so many ways to communicate. Socials, website, emails, app alerts, signs notifying guests; etc.I can almost forgive them for yesterday, the storm damage was overnight and so they didn’t know what level of disruption it would cause to operations.

It just screams “we’ll have your money and then you’re stuck here” kind of attitude.
They're not going to communicate poor ride availability towers have never done that and likely never will. Towers care more about £ than customer experience whoever runs the park is just greedy and can't bare to inform customers of such things and risk losing £. That's why now I've been again I think Thorpe is the better park. Always communicate with visitors regarding availability and are a lot more honest and open.

Lots of downtime and breakdowns today! Staff still blaming impacts of thunder storms and I can imagine hot weather wasn’t helping anything.
Wickerman staff during one breakdown offered us all bottles of water in the queue, thought it was a nice gesture and before anyone asks it was bottled and not in a jug and there was no Schweppes cordial!
Seemed like some of the general punters were quite annoyed at the whole situation.

Anyone on park today? Going tommorow and worried about ride availability
Looks like most everything is back up and running today from the app apart from a couple of the “usual suspects”. Quite long queues for a midweek though so perhaps lots of school trips or extra safety checking going on..Anyone on park today? Going tommorow and worried about ride availability
Fingers crossed it stays like that as I’m going on Sunday..
I am. Gorgeous on park today. Got hit with a delay on Smiler first thing but apart from that, it’s pretty decent. Managed 5 rides by 1230 including 3 coasters.Looks like most everything is back up and running today from the app apart from a couple of the “usual suspects”.
