Ride Availability/Operations 2022-25

It's nice to see Hex operating well as well since the big fix. There's a site which tracks reliability and it doesn't seem like it's had any downtime at all apart from one day where it opened late. Seems to be pulling in a fairly lengthy queue on busy days as well

To be fair, operations at the end of last season were abysmal, arguably the worst they have ever been at Towers.

How's the ops today are they fast I think Towers is slowly improving at the moment and hopefully it can get back to where it should be.

They were fine yesterday. Except galactica which was on two trains two stations, not sure if it’s been on three trains yet this season, but every visit I’ve had it’s only been on two.

Also we didn’t ride it as queue was 30+ mins but it seems they no longer do boat sharing on the rapids, we constantly saw groups of 2/3 going round with a long queue.

Why wouldn’t they do boat sharing, very odd decision that.

The do still do Boat Sharing I as a single rider was paired with a group of two

I think that’s because new safety regulations mean that single riders aren’t allowed on the rapids rides anymore, as they need a witness if an accident happens.

That was certainly the case when I went on Drayton Manor’s rapids as a single rider in 2022, anyway.
 
Very mixed ops today- started off well with Rita opening 10 mins early! However Th13teen didn’t open all - they said it would open in the afternoon but it didn’t.
Galactica running very poorly- one station with two trains and both crafts struggling to assume the position. Painful.
Ops elsewhere fine- think they thought it wouldn’t be as busy as they add a train on this morning to Wickerman.

Did Th13teen test today, maybe it had an error that required maintenance, it can happen with any machine fault finding is tricky. Also Battle Galleons had some issues today

Issue on Battle Galleons was with the gas alarm going off - walked past and saw it flashing.

No clue with Th13teen if it tested- they seemed not being to testing it this morning first thing.
