Ride Availability/Operations 2022-25

Your conflating Ops and Ride Availability together the 2 are different ops at Alton Towers are actually really great they get the trains out fast especially on Smiler, Wickerman and Th13teen the operations are a step above Phantasialand and the Walibi Parks

I'm not conflating anything...I was responding to one person's comments on issues at one park, to those at another, on the same day.
Both parks have had less than top notch operations overall due to poor ride availability.

Fair comparison, reasonable punctuation.

While on the Skyride this morning,I noticed these Red tags on the purple Rita train, does anyone know what these are for?

Are they ‘lockout’ maintenance tags?

Both trains today sitting in the station, no action on either Rita or Sub-Terra today.

The park is now getting very busy the last couple days so with these two closed makes other areas of the park much more crowded that usual

No way of telling with Sub Terra it's indoors it will reopen when ready.

I wouldnt be too concerned they could easily be waiting for parts, especially since intamin accelerators are getting less and less and require specific hardware they may need to wait for parts to be made or shipped from intamin.

Absolutely, hopefully they’re back soon in time for Summer!

Looking forward to riding both of them on my first ever Scarefest later this year too!

No they aren't. This is how you LO/TO.

Usually signed by head of works or whoever gave permission if necessary and where I worked the padlocks were engraved with our initials. Only the person with their initials on the lock can remove it and the tag cannot be removed until all locks are off and everyone is accounted for. As you can see above, the main part goes through the switch and housing so it cannot be physically turned.
